The KODAK I.Lab system Gen 2.0 is a modular, distributed system solution that is brilliantly tied together by a KODAK I.Lab Image Data Manager (IDM) with high-speed storage and access, work process controls and device drivers that can help streamline your lab. And the IDM brings you the power of KODAK Image Science algorithms for automatic image enhancement. Now, the better pictures that consumers expect are available to your wholesale lab. The KODAK I.Lab system Gen 2.0 sets a new standard for quality, flexibility and profitability.

You Control the Input

OWe designed the KODAK I.Lab system to work with the Kodak scanners you've come to rely on. There are high-speed, reel to reel options for first time orders and cut strip negative options for reorders and rework. The system integrates well with other investments you've made in your lab as well. And because more and more orders are coming from digital files, we've built in options for Internet Server input. Whichever you choose, the I.Lab system delivers:

  • Single-channel scanning at 4-Base resolution from the KODAK I.Lab CLAS Digital Film Scanner with HR200 Accessory and KODAK I.Lab 1640 Scanner. Capturing a wide dynamic range for better images.
    • APS and 135 Color Negative, 135 Color Reversal (strip or mounted) and C-41 B/W
    • Cut strip negatives for Reorder and Rework without sacrificing quality (Optional)
  • Internet orders (Optional)
  • PfDF compliance
  • KODAK Batch Definition Utility for simplified operator input

  • Outputs digital reprints, makeovers and digital enlargements up to 8 inches wide using same image enhancements as first-time prints (enlargements require Digital Multi Printer)
  • Supports Digital Multi Printer, KODAK CRT Digital Color Printer II, and Gretag Selexxa 750 Digital Printers
