What does Energetix offer?

Energetix is a full-service energy service company. We of course provide electricity and gas, but through our purchase of Griffith Oil, we now offer our customers both fuel oil and propane as well. And Energetix offers ServiceCare, an appliance protection program.

When you choose Energetix, you actually purchase your energy from us, usually at quite a saving, and there is no change in how the energy is delivered to your home. That's still handled by the local utility you've always relied on.

How much will I save?

The savings on gas are about 10% or $105 a year for most customers. The savings on electricity and liquid fuels are more difficult to estimate without doing a home by home analysis, but since we can shop for the best prices at any given time, we can be more competitive than most utility companies.

Who would I call in an emergency?

You would still call your local utility for any emergencies or delivery concerns. That doesn't change. In fact all that changes is whom you purchase the energy from and how much you pay. It's that simple.

Will I get two bills?

Yes, for now. You will get one bill from Energetix for the energy used. And you'll receive a bill from your current utility company for delivery. But in the future we plan to be able to bill you ourselves for the energy used and delivery.

When can I start?

Energetix can offer competitive prices on gas and liquid fuels to customers today. Electricity choice is being phased in over the next few years, but Energetix will notify our gas, oil and propane customers as soon as electricity can be offered in their community.
